One of my favorite works of Chawana was made for this little known Indonesian film that made it to Thai theaters presumably in the 1970's or early 80's. The Thai name translates to CURSE OF BLOOD, but there's no other clues as to what the Indonesian or English name (if there ever was an English name) is.
All the same, the artwork is strikingly gruesome in that hyper-realist was that Chawana was so good at. A genuine beauty and the beast painted into one spectacular work of art.
